# hostname

- Show current host name:

`hostname`

- Show the network address of the host name:

`hostname {{[-i|--ip-addresses]}}`

- Show the FQDN (Fully Qualified Domain Name):

`hostname {{[-f|--fqdn]}}`

- Set current host name:

`hostname {{new_hostname}}`
