# jj config edit

- Start an editor on the user-level config file:

`jj config {{[e|edit]}} --user`

- Start an editor on the repo-level config file:

`jj config {{[e|edit]}} --repo`

- Start an editor on the workspace-level config file:

`jj config {{[e|edit]}} --workspace`
