# qm guest passwd

- Set a password for a specific user in a virtual machine interactively:

`qm guest passwd {{vm_id}} {{username}}`

- Set an already hashed password for a specific user in a virtual machine interactively:

`qm guest passwd {{vm_id}} {{username}} --crypted 1`
