# pbpaste

> Send the contents of the clipboard to `stdout`.
> Comparable to pressing Cmd + V on the keyboard.

- Write the contents of the clipboard to a file:

`pbpaste > {{path/to/file}}`

- Use the contents of the clipboard as input to a command:

`pbpaste | grep foo`
