# steamosctl

- Change to desktop mode:

`steamosctl switch-to-desktop-mode`

- Change to gamemode:

`steamosctl switch-to-game-mode`

- Change whether the system opens gamemode or desktop during login:

`steamosctl set-default-login-mode {{game|desktop}}`

- Display help:

`steamosctl`
