- Compare files (lists changes to turn `old_file` into `new_file`):
|
|
|
|

|

- Compare files, ignoring [w]hite spaces:

`diff {{-w|--ignore-all-space}} {{old_file}} {{new_file}}`
|

|
- Compare files, showing the differences side by side:
